Following the Church Council Meeting on Thursday 15th April 2021, the decision was taken that Hucknall Central and East Side churches will reopen for worship starting on Sunday 25th April 2021 (Central) and Sunday 2nd May 2021 (East Side) respectively. This will be a reduced operation to allow us to ease back slowly into worship.
We are hopeful that we will be able to offer…

  • 2 live morning services each month at 10.30am
  • 2 zoom worships each month at 10.30am (joint services with Sherwood)
  • 1 live evening service each month at 6.30pm.
  • All Home Worship material will continue as normal

Hucknall Central will be reopening for worship on Sunday 25th April 2021 at 10.30am. If you wish to attend the service you will need to book by telephone in advance. This can be done on the Thurs / Friday before the service only by contacting Graham and Jill Daft on 0115 953 9545. If there is no answer please leave a message with your name and phone number and they will ring you back to confirm your booking. Bookings for East Side will be handled by Dave and Kim Godden, details of which will be sent out later.

In accordance with current government and Methodist Church guidelines the act of worship will require:

  • social distancing
  • wearing of face masks
  • sanitisation of hands etc
  • track and trace (your contact details will be taken by Graham and Jill when you book)
  • no singing is allowed at the moment
  • the service will last no more than 40 mins
  • socialising afterwards is discouraged

Details of service for May will be delivered by email and with the Home Worship material before the end of the month. Any questions, please get in touch with Rev. John Wiseman (jwiserev@hotmail.co.uk, 0115 963 3627)
